Hey ya'll, my name is Olivier and I was born 'n raised in Luxembourg (That's a small country in Europe between Germany, Belgium and France). I've a strong personality and I always set goals in my life, even if it seems sometimes that I really don't give a damn about it. Actually, I can be a real ambitious person if I find the right motivation. Nevertheless, I love having good times and fun with the right friends, but certainly I also seek for intellectual conversations with people who know what they're talking about.
Talkin' 'bout livin'... I'm really sick of Europe and I feel like living under the rock here. Every morning I wake up and I wonder what the hell I do wrong to be still on the wrong part of the world. I really dunno why my destiny doomed me in this freakin' Luxembourg, but I hope that there's a damn good reason for that... Maybe that's the curse of Luxembourg, for not being a good Christian all the time or some kinda bad joke I'll live my whole life... (FML...)
Some Americans already asked why I don't like it here. They'd love to exchange places. It's quite simple: I don't like the way of life in Europe, I don't like the mentality and attitude of Europeans. They're so arrogant (especially where I live) and stuck up. People in the United States are waaay more friendly than Europeans. There are some exceptions, but they're very rare :) The only few plus's I can give Europe are healthcare and agecare systems. I really feel sorry for 70+ people that I see working in fast food restaurants or if at all any job. A second thing would be the driving behavior. That drives me nuts too sometimes, like tailgating on the Interstate at 2 feet from your car while driving 70 mph or being polite and leaving a spot to change a lane. Last but not least are the parents raising children with anti-authoritarian principles who don't properly supervise their kids and letting them do whatever they want, run around loose, and disturb everybody in restaurants or other public places. I hate noisy lil bastards... if you behave, you just get good along with me :) But in general, I really prefer the US :) This sounds crazy? Well I say it's just different... at least 4 of 5 voices in my head say I'm not crazy, they other one buzzes the Tetris melody :) If you wanna know more, click on your left side on More facts. |
